How to save a profile?

_"I press on a red cross, and nothing happens!" _

If you encounter an issue where pressing the red cross does not result in any action, it is because it is not clickable. The red cross indicates that the profile or organisation is not yet in your CRM or wasn’t matched appropriately. To save the profile into the CRM, you must open the profile page.

Steps to Save the Profile into the CRM

  1. Identify the Red Cross Indicator

The red cross next to a profile or organisation indicates that it does not exist/still needs to be matched in your CRM.

  1. Open the Profile Page

Navigate to the LinkedIn profile page of the person or organisation you want to save into the CRM.

  1. Save the Profile

On the LinkedIn profile page, locate and press the appropriate button to initiate the saving process into your CRM.

  1. Verify the Profile is Saved

Once the profile has been saved, the red cross should change to the green or orange checkmark (depending on your CRM and the entity you saved the profile as. Most commonly, green is for contacts, and orange for leads), indicating that the profile is now in your CRM.

  1. Updating the profile

You can initiate the update process by pressing the checkmark.
