How to update a profile?

When a LinkedIn member changes something in their profile (e.g., job title, headline), you no longer need to check every section manually. This tutorial will guide you through updating profiles on LinkedIn using theLinkMatch update feature. This process is optional but significantly faster than manually updating each section/field.

Steps to Update the Profile



Open the LinkedIn Profile Page
You can just navigate to the LinkedIn profile page of the person whose information you want to update in your CRM.

Click the Green Checkmark
Locate and click the green/orange checkmark on the LinkedIn profile page. This action will prompt LinkMatch to check for any updates to the profile.



Review the Updates
LinkMatch will indicate if any fields in your CRM need updating with new info from the LinkedIn profile. Review the changes that LinkMatch has detected.



Press 'Update All'
After reviewing the updates, click the ‘Update all’ button. This action will update the information in your CRM with the new data from LinkedIn.

You can also disregard some of the updates by pressing the X button on the right side of the field.


Verify the Update
Press "Save" to ensure that the profile information in your CRM is now up-to-date.


You can check how this feature works by manually editing an existing CRM contact, refreshing LinkedIn, and pressing the green checkmark.
