"No LinkedIn URL in CRM profile" error

This tutorial will guide you through resolving the "No LinkedIn URL in CRM profile" error. This error indicates that the LinkedIn URL is not saved in the CRM profile, and messages can only be synced once corrected.

You should double-check the following before proceeding:

Ensure the LinkedIn URL is mapped to the correct field in the Parsing Options of the Options page.
Need help to map the fields on the Options page? Tutorial here.

Verify that only one instance of the LinkedIn URL is mapped in the Parsing Options— ONLY ONE FIELD SHOULD CONTAIN THE LINKEDIN URL!
If the LinkedIn URL is saved in a different field in your CRM (rather than the one mapped in the Options page), this will cause an error.
If, in your CRM, the LinkedIn URL is saved in a field named "LinkedIn," but in the LinkMatch Options page, it is mapped to the "LinkedIn URL" field, it will not work. The fields must correspond exactly. To avoid errors, the LinkedIn URL in your CRM should be saved in the same field mapped in the Options page.

After you've looked over and set up these settings, you'll be able to move forward.

Steps to Resolve the Error

Open the LinkedIn Profile Page
Navigate to the LinkedIn profile page of the individual whose CRM profile is missing the LinkedIn URL.

Press the Green Checkmark
On the LinkedIn profile page, locate and press the green checkmark (orange for leads). This action will initiate an update process.

Complete the update process
After pressing the checkmark, LinkMatch will show you whether there are any updates to be made.

Press either "Show" to view the suggested updates or "Update all" to apply the updates

After this step, press "Save" and close the LinkMatch window

You can also manually find the profile in your CRM and update it with the LinkedIn URL.

Once the LinkedIn page is refreshed, visit the profile in the "Messaging" tab to ensure the messages are synced.
