# How to Update Chrome Extensions

Updating your Chrome extensions is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your LinkMatch is up to date:

1. **Open Chrome Extensions Page**
  Open Google Chrome, type `chrome://extensions/` in the address bar, then press Enter.

2. **Enable Developer Mode**
  In the top right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on "Developer mode." This will enable additional options, including manually updating your extensions.

3. **Click "Update"**
  Once Developer mode is enabled, you’ll see an "Update" button at the top of the page. Click this button to update your installed extensions to the latest version.

4. **Wait for the Updates to Complete**
  Chrome will automatically check for updates and install any that are available. You’ll see a brief notification indicating that the extensions have been updated.

5. **Disable Developer Mode (Optional)**
  After updating, you can toggle off Developer mode if you prefer not to enable it.

|| If your extensions don't seem to update, try restarting Chrome or manually reinstalling the extension. For critical updates, it’s recommended to keep your browser up to date as well.
