How to Update Chrome Extensions

Updating your Chrome extensions is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your LinkMatch is up to date:

Open Google Chrome, type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar, then press Enter.

Enable Developer Mode
In the top right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on "Developer mode." This will enable additional options, including manually updating your extensions.




Click "Update"
Once Developer mode is enabled, you’ll see an "Update" button at the top of the page. Click this button to update your installed extensions to the latest version.




Wait for the Updates to Complete
Chrome will automatically check for updates and install any that are available. You’ll see a brief notification indicating that the extensions have been updated.



Disable Developer Mode (Optional)
After updating, you can toggle off Developer mode if you prefer not to enable it.

If your extensions don't seem to update, try restarting Chrome or manually reinstalling the extension. For critical updates, it’s recommended to keep your browser up to date as well.
